This was my failed attempt at cooking. The green went okay, but I put way too much pepper in it. Seriously. It made me cry so much that I could probably have ended California’s drought problem. The mussels on the other hand, were a disaster. My grandmother had bought some frozen ones and said she/I were to cook it soon. She said that about 6 months ago. So I decided that I would cook the mussels. Didn’t go so well. I cooked them way too long and they became rubbery and salty. I tried to be fancy by adding in miso paste, but that was probably a bad idea. I even went to a grocery store to buy extra ingredients, like basil and chili peppers. At least the pictures look good, though. So let’s all pretend I am an amazing chef and that my cooking is flawless.
